In addition to the fabulous catering service that Chef Claire has been doing for the past six years her new storefront on Main street offers daily lunch from creative panini selections daily soups and lunch specials.

Select from daily paninis, soups,and lunch specials like a Parmesan crusted mac and cheese. For the sweeter side of life, we have housemade pistachio marshmallows and pecan caramel bars .

The grocery has everything you need to get you started with combinations of locally made products to imported goods from Italy, California and a handful of our creations.

Go to the freezer and select from frozen soups and entrees such as Malaysian lamb curry, pulled pork, briased lambshanks on truffle scented white beans or turkey and corn enchiladas.  We also have our cranberry chocolate bread pudding that one of our clients said should come a warning sign (sinfully delicious)!

mainbio.jpgClaire May, who is founder and owner of Chef and Company, always knew that someday food would become an integral part of her life.  Growing up in the Orient, she can still remember the smells of soya glazed squid and corn being barbecued by the side of the road; hole in the wall eateries with vats of steaming noodles and large tanks of moving crab and lobster.  

 Claire started her career by working in the front end of restaurants: learning the ins and outs of the service industry, how to give patrons an experience to remember, and how to make the elusive perfect martini.  She couldn't resist the lure of the kitchen and she enrolled in the Pierre Dubrulle International Culinary School in Vancouver, British Columbia.    read more...
